About the role

Product at Noovid starts with quality: deciding what done means, checking the edge cases, and calling a release ready. Today that happens inside everyone's heads, and it mostly works. As the product grows across two sides of a marketplace, mostly isn't good enough.

You'll own quality as a product discipline. Write the acceptance criteria before the work starts, test the flows that move money and reputation, run bug triage, and make the go or no-go call on releases. Over time you'll own more of the backlog itself: what gets built next, in what order, and how we'll know it worked. If you've been the QA person who kept getting pulled into product decisions because your judgment was good, this is that job on purpose.

What you'll do

  • Define what done means: acceptance criteria and edge cases written down before engineering starts, not discovered after
  • Test the flows where trust lives: campaigns, matching, delivery, revisions, and payments, across brands and creators
  • Own bug triage: reproduce, prioritise by real user impact, and keep the fix queue honest
  • Make the release call, and build the checklists and regression coverage that make it a calm one
  • Run the backlog with engineering and design: turn customer friction and recurring issues into specs and priorities

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in QA, product ownership, or the blurry space between, with senior-level judgment
  • You've grown from finding bugs to deciding what gets built, or you're the product owner who never stopped testing
  • A systematic edge-case brain: you think in states, permissions, currencies, and what happens when the network drops
  • You write clearly: specs, acceptance criteria, and bug reports engineers thank you for
  • You're fluent in English. It's our working language

Your first six months

  • Map the product's critical flows and put regression coverage on the ones that touch money and delivery
  • Own the release process end to end and make ready mean the same thing to everyone
  • Run backlog triage so well that engineers start asking for your spec before they build

Bonus points

  • Experience with marketplaces, payments, or other two-sided products
  • Hands-on test automation, or enough SQL to answer your own questions
  • Portuguese or Spanish

What we offer

Remote for real

Work from wherever you do your best work. We write things down so time zones are a feature, not a fight.

Meaningful equity

You'll own a real slice of the thing you're helping build, not a rounding error.

Whole problems, not tickets

You get a problem from the messy start to the shipped result, and what you own is genuinely yours.

A seat at the table

Decisions here get made in the open, with the people doing the work in the room.
