About the role
Noovid is a marketplace with real traffic on both sides: 5,000+ brands ordering videos and hundreds of creators making them. Brands run campaigns on the web; creators increasingly run their whole Noovid business from a phone. The product got here on fast, pragmatic engineering. Now it needs someone whose whole job is making it excellent.
That's this role, and it comes in two flavours. Join as a full-stack engineer and own the web marketplace, from the data model to the interface. Or join as a mobile engineer and own the experience creators carry in their pocket. Either way you'll be the most senior engineer on your surface: shipping the highest-leverage improvements yourself, setting the technical standards, and making the calls on how we build.
What you'll do
- Own your surface end to end: the campaign, matching, delivery, revision, and payment flows on the web, or the creator's daily workflow on mobile
- Set a practical bar for architecture, testing, observability, security, accessibility, and performance, and hold us to it
- Turn brand and creator friction into a roadmap, make the trade-offs, and ship the work
- Be the strongest technical voice in the room when we decide how to build something
- Write things down: the technical map and decision records that get the next engineers productive fast
What we're looking for
- 7+ years building production software, with time spent at senior or staff scope
- You've owned a product or platform in a small team before, not just delivered inside an established system
- Full-stack track: you move comfortably across relational data, APIs, TypeScript, React, and infrastructure
- Mobile track: you've shipped and maintained a production app people rely on daily, and you sweat the details that make it feel native
- You explain trade-offs clearly, you're happy making product calls, and you know when to move fast and when to invest
- You're fluent in English. It's our working language
Your first six months
- Know the production system inside out, including its risks and where the leverage is
- Ship one meaningful improvement to your surface end to end and measure what changed
- Put the first technical roadmap in place, plus one foundation that makes every later change safer or faster
Bonus points
- Experience with marketplaces, payments, or video infrastructure
- You're comfortable on both sides of the line: a full-stack engineer with mobile chops, or a mobile engineer who can go deep on the API
- An early-stage or first-engineer chapter somewhere
- Portuguese or Spanish
